Discover singletrack paradise at the Alpine Epic cross-country mountain bike race of 15, 25 or 50 miles. The Oakridge-Westfir area boasts world class, pristine trails that wind through open beargrass meadows, stunning vistas, old-growth groves, unsurpassed wildflower displays and lush green carpets of Pacific Northwest rainforests. The 50-mile "Fritter" legacy loop takes riders on the North Alpine, Tire Mountain and Cloverpatch sections of the Alpine Trail System, while the 25-mile and 15-mile courses follow a similar routes, cutting in earlier. Along the way, enjoy well-stocked aid stations featuring a smorgasbord of favorite race treats and some original gourmet surprises. Awards ceremonies will be held in the afternoon, along with post race meals and beverage services for participants and spectators.
